Region 20 Pre-Kindergarten
Pre-Kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year is open to all Goshen, Litchfield, Morris, and Warren pre-kindergarten aged children 3 or 4 years of age prior to September 1, 2026. Our elementary schools in each Region 20 town offer morning and afternoon sessions, based on student enrollment.
Daily Sessions
9:00 a.m.—11:30 a.m.
1:10 p.m.— 3:40 p.m.
Important: Please note that for the 2026–2027 school year, Pre-K students do not attend school on scheduled Professional Development (PD) days.
Please consult the District Calendar for those dates.
The program is designed around the developmental needs of typical and developmentally delayed children. Our program focuses on the following skills:
Literacy
Numeracy
Fine Motor
Social Skills
Families may specify a preference for the morning or afternoon session in their application. Available seats will be filled through a lottery.

Family Events
Information Session (Parents Only)
Parents will learn about our three and four-year-old pre-kindergarten program. This event will be held at Litchfield Center School and is for all Region 20 families, regardless of their town. This will be held on January 26, 2027 with a "rain" date of February 2, 2027 from 5:00pm-6:00pm.

Open House (Parents & Children)
Parents and children will have an opportunity to meet the teachers and participate in interactive activities together at your child's school from 4:15 to 4:45.
