Dear Parents and Community Members,

I have been very happy with how this school year has been proceeding. I thought I would share with you some of the items we have been working on for Warren School.

1. Supporting our K-6 Mathematics Program with Mrs. Wright as our Mathematics Support Specialist.

2. Supporting our K-6 Language Arts Program with Mrs. Woodington as our LA Support Specialist

3. Supporting our K-6 Technology program with Mrs. Wright as our Educational Technologist.

3. Development and implementation of a new Standards-Based Report Card.

4. Development and implementation of the Writers Workshop Model for K-6 Language Arts.

5. Development and implementation of Mathematics Common Assessments K-6.

6. Continued integration of technology and classroom instruction using: smartbiards, KerPoof, Storyjumper, Storybird, Voicethread, Storykit, Phonotstories, Glogsters, Edmodo, Google Docs, Reading Plus, IXL, Study Island, Brainpop, Discovery Ed, iPods, iPads, and netbooks.
