Wamogo Regional High School

Assistant Principal's Message

Assistant Principal Jody Lambert

As the first semester comes to an end and we prepare for the Connecticut Academic Performance Test (CAPT, grade 10) and the Connecticut Mastery Test (CMT, grade 7 & 8), I encourage all of our district families to take the time to reflect with your children on their own personal and academic goals.  This is a good time to renew a commitment to a subject area or set a new goal for achievement.  I urge all of you to be sure that your students are eating and sleeping well so that they have an opportunity to succeed no matter what they may endeavor.  If you have an opportunity to attend a sporting event here at Wamogo or on the road, you will certainly be impressed with the effort and commitment that our student athletes have made to their respective sports.  In addition, our spring musical is well into rehearsals with set construction to occur in upcoming weeks.  Please be sure to mark your calendars for this entertaining event and see the many theatrical and musical talents of our students and staff.

As always, our website is a rich source of information.  Upcoming events, testing schedules and other important information can be found there regularly.   The website can be accessed at www.rsd6.org.   We also invite you to join in our monthly parent coffees.  A schedule of  meeting times can be found on our website as well.  These informal meetings offer an opportunity for parents to to voice concerns, ask questions and get involved with Wamogo.   We welcome you to bring along a friend.  I sincerely hope that you know that our doors are always open and we welcome the opportunity to talk to you about anything that may improve what we do here at Wamogo.  We look forward to seeing you all at one of the many events we offer.
