Dear Region 6 Community,

I hope that this finds everyone well after a great promotion and graduation week. I wanted to update you on some dates surrounding summer projects.

The renovation of the James M. Eisenhaure Auditorium at WAMOGO began this morning with completion expected by August 26th. You can follow day-to-day progress on our live stream by clicking here.

With the weather finally turning drier, the excavation and paving are now scheduled for JMS and WAMOGO from June 19th through June 26th.  In order to accommodate this work, there will be no access to WAMOGO Road on Saturday, June 22nd and Sunday, June 23rd.

On the technology front, SMART Boards are being installed in Warren over the next two weeks and Goshen will receive the first half of its upgrades in August. WAMOGO will also receive a long-awaited phone upgrade during the last week of June.

This July, each school will receive a new vestibule style entry system and replacement to intrusion and security monitoring. A “key fob” system is included in this work and will replace the failing “cyber key” system.

Finally, as previously noted, floors are being abated and replaced at both Warren and WAMOGO. Please check with each school on summer access during the first two weeks of July.

We are proud of the continuing work and improvements across the district and know that progress doesn’t rest in RSD6.

Best wishes to all for the start of summer vacation.
